Llanberis, the host village for Ultra-Trail Snowdonia, is a popular tourist destination during the spring and summer months. If you are travelling to the event by car, it’s important to plan your parking options in advance to help your experience run smoothly.
NEW PARK & RIDE OPTIONS FOR 2026
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, and to reduce the use of personal cars in Llanberis, a Park & Ride and shuttle bus service will be provided to / from the Ultra-Trail Village.
We kindly request all participants use the official event car parks and shuttle buses. The car parks are located either to the north of Llanberis or the south west of Bangor (off the A55). Additionally we are operating a new shuttle service from Bangor train station.
Prior to booking your official car parking, please consider:
- Using public transport to travel to Eryri and Llanberis.
- If travelling by train, our new shuttle service will connect Bangor train station with the Ultra-Trail Village. Train timetables can be viewed at National Rail.
- Car sharing with other participants travelling from near your home town. Why not ask on the Ultra-Trail Snowdonia Runners Facebook group?
For participants staying in Llanberis, please consider leaving your vehicle at your accommodation and walking to the Ultra-Trail Village for your race start, conveniently located within the centre of Llanberis.
To secure a Car Park Pass for your vehicle, please visit your MyUTMB account and select your Ultra-Trail Snowdonia registration. Click 'Edit my registration' to book your Car Park Pass online. Car Park Passes are non-refundable.
Confirmation of your Car Park Pass will be e-mailed after purchase. A further e-mail of the exact location of the car park will be sent in April 2026.
