Secure your car parking at Ultra-Trail Snowdonia!
Llanberis, the host village for Ultra-Trail Snowdonia, can be a very popular tourist destination during the spring and summer months. If you are travelling to the event by car, it’s important to plan your parking options in advance to avoid disappointment and any last minute stresses.
There are some local limitations imposed on car parking (especially overnight) for the public and event organisers. To reduce the pressures caused by the demand for additional car parking we would recommend the following options where possible:
- Use public transport to travel to Snowdonia and Llanberis.
- Car share with other participants travelling from near your home town.
- Leave your vehicle at your accommodation in Llanberis and walk to the race start.
We appreciate these recommendations may not work for everyone. To help plan your visit, we have taken an additional step in 2024 to create extra car parking options for our participants.
UTS 100M and UTS 100K
With the support of a local land owner and the local council, we have secured additional car parking on the outskirts of Llanberis at Nant Peris. We will be operating a free return shuttle bus service from Nant Peris to the Ultra-Trail Village (where Registration is located) in Llanberis. From Registration it’s a further 5 minute walk to the race start and finish line.
This car park will allow for overnight parking (unlike the pay-and-display car parks in Llanberis) for our UTS 100M and UTS 100K participants. Please note: this is not an offer of overnight accommodation. For safety reasons, this does not grant permission for you to sleep in your vehicle overnight.
This UTS 100M and UTS 100K car park will be open from 08:00 on Friday 10 May and close at 15:00 on Sunday 12 May 2024, providing over 55 hours of continuous car parking joy!
The price of a UTS 100M and UTS 100K car park ticket is £45 for all three days. This price is competitive with similar car parking options in Llanberis and has the added convenience you will not have to move your car each day and purchase a new ticket.
Spaces for this overnight car park are limited. To secure space for your vehicle, please visit your MyUTMB account and click 'edit registration' to book your car park ticket online. Car park tickets are non-refundable.

UTS 50K
The official event car park is now available to participants in the UTS 50K. The price of a UTS 50K car park ticket is £30 for two days (Friday and Saturday), allowing you to park while you register at the Ultra-Trail Village on Friday, and for the whole of Saturday while you're competing. We recommend UTS 50K participants use the official event car park to guarantee your car parking spot for the duration of your stay.

ERYRI 25K
With less restrictions for daily car parking in Llanberis, we recommend ERYRI 25K participants make use of the many pay-and-display car parks in the village. Some of these car parks are managed by the local council, while others are operated independently. Daily prices vary.

We recommend you arrive early to secure a convenient car parking option and avoid disappointment. This will also help you complete your registration in time, soak-up the Ultra-Trail Village atmosphere, and have a hassle free arrival at the event before your race.
If you are staying overnight in Llanberis, we encourage you to leave your vehicle at your accommodation and walk to the race start.
Do not park in any residential area at any time during your visit and do not block access for residential properties or businesses.
We recommend you only use designated car parking areas. Please be considerate of access requirements and carefully consider your choice of parking before leaving your vehicle. UTMB UK cannot be responsible if you are issued with a parking or traffic fine. Traffic wardens operate within Llanberis.
Please note: the speed limit in most Welsh towns and villages is now 20mph. Please observe the local restrictions for the safety of local residents, yourself and other motorists.
Car park frequently asked questions...
Yes.
Once you've shown your car park ticket e-mail to gain access, you'll be issued with a car park pass to display in your vehicle. This will allow you to enter the car park at a later time if you decide to head out and explore Snowdonia. You will need to display the car park pass to re-enter the official event car park at a later time, so ensure you keep this handy.
Failure to display a car park pass will prevent you from being allowed entry. No refunds will be given if you lose your car park pass.
Yes. The shuttle bus service is available for participants families and friends to use.
Priority may be given to participants at peak times if there is a large demand from additional families and friends.
No. Purchasing a car park ticket for the official event car park is not an offer of overnight accommodation.
The official event car park is not a campsite or a designated location for campervan accommodation. For safety reasons, you are not permitted to sleep in your vehicle at this location overnight. Anyone found to be sleeping in their vehicle, or pitching a tent or awning, will be removed from site and may be disqualified from their race.
To help keep Snowdonia litter free, please ensure you take all your rubbish home with you.
No campfires or BBQs are permitted in the official event car park.
